“World Economic Forum Wants to Work with SHIB”
Shytoshi Kusama, the lead developer behind the popular meme token Shiba Inu, has announced that he wants to work with SHIB on the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) global metaverse policy. Kusama held a poll on Twitter to find out if the community wanted the Shiba Inu to collaborate with the WEF. According to the latest situation, most of the users are in favor of cooperation with the WEF.
The developer used the following statements in his first Tweet:
“#ShibArmy I need a quick vote: We have been kindly invited to work with the WORLD ECONOMIC FORUM as it pertains to their MV global policy. Would love to know what you all think because it’s not our decision, but yours.”

In a follow-up tweet, Kusama claims that Shiba Inu developers will be at the table with policymakers and help shape global policy for the metaverse, along with tech giant Meta as well as decentralized cryptocurrency projects like Decentraland:
“We will be at the table with policymakers and help shape global policy for Metaverse, among other giants like FB, Sand, Decentraland. And please don’t ask my opinion, you already know.”
The Shiba Inu protocol made an entry into the metaverse with the introduction of “Shiba Lands” in February 2021. SHIB: The Metaverse introduced a new art concept called Dunes earlier this month to its followers. With his much-talked metaverse project, Shiba Inu is trying to prove that it’s more than just a meme coin driven by hype and speculation.
