Krafton continues to expand into the crypto industry by partnering with blockchain startup Solana Labs to develop play-to-win crypto games.
The company that develops the popular video game PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG), announced in a statement that it has signed a business agreement with Solana Labs to develop blockchain games that allow players to earn NFTs.
In the statement made by Krafton, words of praise were made for Solana. Stating that Solana is the most performing Blockchain technology in the world, Krafton officials stated that this cooperation will benefit from Solana's high performance and security, as well as all its long-term advantages.
Hyungchul Park, one of Krafton's top executives, said that the company is making preparations for Web 3.0, and companies like Solana are critical at this point. Expressing that Solana Labs will be one of the best representatives of Web 3.0, Park stated that they will already build Krafton's future location with the work to be done.
As a matter of fact, this collaboration is not surprising. Because Krafon had officially announced that it would enter the web 3.0 and NFT sectors some time ago. In fact, a series of cooperation announcements were made immediately after this statement. If we do not ignore that Solana is a popular and widely preferred company in this field, we can easily say that Krafton has made one of the best choices.
