There Are 6 Bitcoin Billionaires in the World
Only 22 people in the world have crypto investments worth at least $1 billion. Only 6 of them keep their investments in Bitcoin. The findings were part of the “Crypto Wealth Report” published Sept. 5 by London-based consulting firm Henley & Partners. According to the report, there are 88,200 millionaires with crypto assets worldwide. Of these, 40,500 hold their virtual investments in Bitcoin. The report also found that 182 people owned more than $100 million in cryptocurrencies. 78 of these millionaires keep their virtual investments in Bitcoin.

While the report does not name any crypto billionaires, we know some people have high-profile crypto holdings. Digital Currency Group founder and CEO Barry Silbert, Gemini co-founders Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss, Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao, Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong, Ripple co-founder Chris Larsen and MicroStrategy chairman Michael Saylor are among the wealthiest crypto investors is located. A total of 425 million people worldwide own some form of crypto assets.
The report also included the Crypto Adoption Index. Public adoption, infrastructure adoption, regulatory environment, tax regulations, etc. to list the best crypto-friendly countries. A wide range of factors were taken into account, including: Singapore, Switzerland and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) emerged as the top three countries leading the index. Hong Kong, Australia, UK, Canada, Malta and Malaysia also made it into the top 10 crypto-friendly places list.
