The famous Canadian singer Grimes, the ex-girlfriend of Elon Musk and the mother of his two children, introduced the 'educational metaverse book for children' project at an event held in Barcelona.
However, the Canadian musician is also known for his interest in digital assets such as NFTs. The famous singer now attended an event organized by the Avalanche company, which we know from the AVAX cryptocurrency, and shared his new metaverse project with the whole world.
Grimes' Metaverse book project was announced as part of a $100 million initiative launched by the Avalanche Foundation and immutable tokens (NFT) protocol OP3N.
The 34-year-old Canadian singer and songwriter Grimes is known for his hit songs, as well as for his relationship with the richest person in the world, Elon Musk. The famous artist announced that they gave birth to a second child with Musk in the past weeks and was on the agenda. Grimes also made interesting statements about his ex-girlfriend Musk, stating that the famous businessman lives under the poverty line.
At the Avalanche Summit in Poble Espanyol, Barcelona, between March 22 and 27, the NFT launch panel OP3N and the Avalanche foundation announced a $100 million initiative dedicated to Web3 entertainment called Culture Catalyst. Ava Labs president John Wu said Culture Catalyst will support Web3 entertainment apps on the Avalanche network.
"The Avalanche Foundation's Culture Catalyst Initiative with OP3N is a landmark for entertainment and pop culture applications in Avalanche. Users can expect the already robust Avalanche NFT space to evolve into new spaces and be part of a new chapter in the history of culture on Web3."
In addition to the Canadian musician Grimes Culture Catalyst, the initiative announced that it plans to launch an "Intergalactic children's Metaverse book" as one of its projects. Speaking to Avalanche foundation guests via a video, Grimes talked about Web3 and how pleased he is to assist OP3N's efforts.
"When I first got into Web3, it was the kind of project I was hoping to see. I'm very excited to partner with OP3N to launch a series of educational arts to create an immersive experience for babies and toddlers."
Grimes has been involved in some non-exchangeable token (NFT) ecosystem over the past two years. Grimes is also the ex-wife of Elon Musk and the mother of his child "X Æ A-12". In March 2021, Grimes stated, “Warnymph Collection Vol. 1. NFT collection raised approximately $6 million and split his NFT named “Newborn 1 & 3” into pieces.
