US Senator Ted Cruz was known for his closeness to the cryptocurrency market. Explaining that he had previously invested in Bitcoin, Ted made new statements about the crypto money industry. Ted continues to defend Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies after the US has taken an opposing stance towards Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in recent days. Cruz said that Texas should be the hub of Bitcoin.
Ted, who stated that they had a pleasant discussion with another Bitcoin and crypto money supporter Kevin O'leary, described the discussion as magical and enjoyable.
"I had a lot of fun discussing the future of crypto and Bitcoin with Kevin O'Leary this morning. It was a fascinating and enjoyable discussion. We decided that Texas should be the hub for the crypto industry worldwide."
After the discussion, the duo, who decided that Texas should be the center point of the crypto industry, says that they will start working on this issue in the coming days.
Ted Cruz, one of the former US presidential candidates, reported to the senate that he made a $50,000 Bitcoin purchase in February of 2022. U.S. senators continue to be required to report the products they invest in to the Senate and the public.
Texas Governor Greg Abbott does not hesitate to make efforts to attract Bitcoin miners to the state of Texas. Ted Cruz thinks that with the financial power that Bitcoin miners will bring, they can solve the state's permanent power grid problems. The US senator has also submitted a bill to the Senate for the adoption of cryptocurrencies in the past months.
