“Roll1ng Thund3rz” Conversion Completed in Zilliqa

Zilliqa Research, developer of the Zilliqa (ZIL) blockchain, announced that it has completed the transformation of its gaming division into a new independent business called Roll1ng Thund3rz (RTz). Roll1ng Thund3rz will be led by Valentin Cobelea, Zilliqa’s Head of Gaming Technology, who led the establishment and development of Zilliqa’s gaming division last year. Cobelea will serve as co-founder and CTO at Roll1ng Thund3rz, and will also remain at Zilliqa to develop the company’s technical gaming capabilities; The remainder of Zilliqa’s gaming division will be transitioned to the new establishment and will start operating immediately.

The new company will continue to work closely with Zilliqa’s core and technical teams to facilitate seamless integration with the Zilliqa cryptocurrency chain, supporting some of the leading features that will be featured in Roll1ng Thund3rz games. Roll1ng Thund3rz will release its first major game, Web3War, a free-to-play, cross-platform, first-person shooter on March 31 next month. Matt Dyer, CEO of Zilliqa altcoin, said:
