Nissan Increases Web3 Brand Applications

Japanese automotive giant Nissan has applied for four new Web3-themed trademarks in the US. These new applications include the Infiniti, Nismo and Nissan brands. Nissan filed Web3 trademark applications with the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) on March 7. Metaverse and NFT steps draw attention in these applications that have just come to the press.

The US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) applications filed by the company are the virtual designs of Nissan; clothing, cars, headgear, trading cards, toys, tickets. The company is also making plans to create an NFT marketplace. The global giant has outlined its metaverse advertising services, as well as a website that provides comprehensive information on Nissan’s proposed NFTs.

The automotive company also announced that as part of its metaverse work, it is running a three-month “demonstration experiment” at its virtual store Nissan Hype Lab.
