New CEO Appointment from Gemini for Asian Operations

Cryptocurrency exchange Gemini, founded by Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss, continues to take new steps in line with its plans to expand outside the United States. United States-based cryptocurrency exchange Gemini has appointed a new CEO for Asia-Pacific (APAC).

Gemini, the United States-based cryptocurrency exchange founded by twin brothers Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss, has announced that it has appointed a new CEO for Asia-Pacific (APAC). At this point, the company plans to open its first office in India.

In a blog post by the company, twin brothers Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss stated that Pravjit Tiwana, Gemini’s global chief technology officer, has taken on an additional role as APAC CEO. As the company’s new APAC CEO, Pravjit Tiwana will also ensure financial stability by leading new product launches from the region. Making a statement on the subject, Pravjit Tiwana said:

Gemini has big plans for international expansion in Asia Pacific this year. This includes initially building product and engineering teams in India. In addition, we focus on growing our individual and corporate customer base in the region.
