NEAR Has Increased Its Activities Since September

Near Network (NEAR), a decentralized platform for open web applications, experienced a boom in activity in September 2023. According to official statistics, the network has processed an average of close to 1.9 million transactions per day recently, with more than 730,000 daily active accounts. On September 5, the network reached new highs in various metrics such as total transactions, active accounts, and gas usage.

One of the main drivers of this growth has been KAI-Ching, a blockchain-based loyalty program that is part of the AI-driven sales ecosystem Cosmose AI. KAI-Ching allows users to earn and redeem rewards at thousands of online and offline stores like Sephora, Starbucks, and Nike. The program processed 14.88 million transactions on the Near Network cryptocurrency network in the last two weeks, making it one of the most popular applications on the platform.

However, the recent increase in activity did not show itself much in the NEAR altcoin price. The token has gained only 1.95% in value in the last week and is trading at $1.15, down 14% from its level a month ago. NEAR reached its all-time high at $20.42 on January 17, 2022.
