MicroStrategy Announces New Bitcoin Purchase

While Bitcoin continues to consolidate in a narrow range, MicroStrategy has announced the purchase of new Bitcoin. Michael Saylor, former CEO of MicroStrategy, announced on Twitter that the company received another 2.5000 BTC. According to the share, MicroStrategy has 132,500 BTC purchased for a total of 4.03 billion dollars as of 27.12.2022, at an average price of $ 30,397 per Bitcoin.

Announcing the purchase of Bitcoin, MicroStrategy said in its statement:

“In the period from November 1, 2022 to December 21, 2022, MicroStrategy purchased approximately 2,395 Bitcoins through MacroStrategy for approximately $42.8 million in cash. Approximately $17,871 per Bitcoin, including fees and expenses.

On December 22, 2022, MacroStrategy sold approximately 704 Bitcoins for an average cash income of $11.8 million.

On December 24, 2022, MacroStrategy purchased approximately 810 bitcoins for an average price of approximately $13.6 million in cash. That’s about $16,845 per bitcoin, including fees and expenses.

MicroStrategy, together with its subsidiaries, increased their Bitcoin holdings by 2,500 BTC, Our holdings have increased from approximately 130,000 BTC on October 31, 2022 to approximately 132,500 BTC as of December 27, 2022.

As of December 27, 2022, Bitcoins held by MicroStrategy and its subsidiaries were purchased at approximately the total purchase price. The average purchase price, including fees and charges, is about $30,397.

The total cost of Bitcoin purchases is $4.03 billion.”
