Lee: “Bitcoin could be $180k”
Tom Lee, the founder of New York-based research and asset management firm Fundstrat Global Advisors, said that the price of Bitcoin could rise to $ 180,000. Stating that the spot Bitcoin ETF demands must be approved in the USA for this price to come, Lee stated that there is a possibility of inflation to fall below 2 percent. Drawing attention with the comments he made in many financial channels in the USA, Lee’s evaluations in the program he participated in CNBC are as follows:
August is usually surprising months. After strong periods in July, August is scary. End of month inflation data will come. Perhaps a better period may come after these data. I think core inflation is also starting to cool slowly. Inflation may fall below 3% or even 2%. Yes, it can go below 2 as well. I think the S&P 500 can also reach a historic peak at the end of the year, even if it drops in August.

If spot Bitcoin ETFs are accepted, the demand will be much higher than daily issued Bitcoins. The price analysis from the crypto department of our company shows that if such a situation occurs, 150 thousand dollars can be exceeded. It could be $180k. If it is not approved, there will be an increase again due to the halving next year, but the 6-digit numbers will not be seen.
