Kazakhstan Continues Its Digital Currency Steps
Binance and the National Bank of Kazakhstan announced that they have established a digital partnership by publishing a joint report. According to the published report, Kazakhstan has entered the pilot period for the digital currency. Kazakhstan, which has recently accepted the rules in a general framework in crypto regulations, has announced that it continues on its way in digital money.

With the text published jointly by Binance and Kazakhstan National Bank (NBK), it was announced that a digital tenge program was launched. The published report describes approaches to digital asset regulation, the digital asset industry and decentralized finance. In the introduction to the report, Berik Sholpankupov, Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Kazakhstan, made statements about the bank’s pursuit of a vision that could increase its financial inclusion and support international trade.
“In Kazakhstan, we also launched a practical R&D study to explore how our central bank digital currency (CBDC) and digital tenge can bridge the crypto world and traditional fiat payment infrastructure.”
