OKX, one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges, has applied for a license in France. The stock market wants to make Paris its center in Europe. The stock market, which applied for a license to the “Autorité des Marchés Financiers”, that is, the Financial Markets Authority in France, also made a statement on the subject today. If the regulatory agency approves, OKX will now have obtained a “digital asset service provider” license in France.
Experts also state that the exchange must provide information to the regulator about its major shareholders in order to obtain a license. According to the news in Bloomberg; It is stated that if Seychelles-based OKX gets a license, it will set up a team of 10 people for its office in France in the next 6 months. It is aimed that this number will increase to 100 people in the next 3 years.

As it is known, France has been following an inclusive policy on cryptocurrencies in recent years. Apart from Binance, companies such as Crypto.com and Circle also have offices in the country. In the statement of OKX, the CEO of the exchange, Hong Fang, evaluated their application and stated that their activities in France are very important in order to work with European regulators.
