HashKey Capital Will Invest in Altcoins

The Hong Kong-regulated fund of digital asset financial services firm HashKey Capital has announced that it will invest a significant portion of its assets in altcoins. According to Reuters news, bitcoin (BTC) and ethereum (ETH) do not even make up half of the investments to be made. Portfolio manager Jupiter Zheng says the company will diversify its capital assets.

According to Zheng’s statement, the fund, which became operational as of Friday, attracts the attention of high-income individuals and investment firms serving wealthy Asian families.

Singapore-based HashKey Capital said in a statement earlier this month that it would use all of the $100 million it raised to invest in digital assets. Following the announcement, Hong Kong took another step towards becoming a global crypto hub by creating its regulatory framework for digital assets.
