EXIT Festival Enters NFT Ticketing with NFT-TiX

EXIT Festival, one of the most popular festivals in Serbia, will create NFT tickets for this year’s event. The festival has partnered with NFT-TiX, a ticketing platform built on the Ethereum blockchain, to create NFT tickets. NFT tickets were also used at Swedish House Mafia and Coachella events held in 2021.

EXIT Festival, which will take place in Novi Sad, Serbia, between 6-9 July this year, welcomes nearly 200,000 guests every year at Petrocaradin Castle. EXIT’s partnership with NFT-TiX will allow tickets to be sold on the decentralized ticketing platform. The festival first implemented the NFT ticketing system in 2022, winning the UK Festival Innovation Award.

In addition to regular NFT tickets, the festival will also offer ultra VIP tickets worth 10,000 euros. Ultra VIP tickets will give fans some perks, such as the opportunity to meet and greet artists. Ticket holders will also gain access to a number of VIP lounges. This project, realized by EXIT Festival with NFT-TiX, was listed for the DISTRUPTOR Award at the Ticketing Business Awards. The project is said to be a pioneering example of meeting the demands of today’s audiences.
