Europe-Centered Metaverse Initiatives Tripled

Venture capital firms have more than tripled their investment in European metaverse ventures in 2022. Metaverse-focused venture companies in the European region raised a total of $666 million worth of investment funds this year.

Improbable, the Metaverse development platform, and nfinite, which creates artificial intelligence-based three-dimensional simulations, became the startup companies that signed the largest funding rounds.

Improbable raised $150 million in an investment round in April of this year. An additional $112 million was added to this fund in October. nfinite, on the other hand, managed to raise $100 million in an investment round led by Insight Partners. Namat Bahram of venture capital firm Omers Ventures; He pointed out that they are closely following metaverse initiatives Eleven Labs, Condense Reality, Moralis and Hadean. Amadeus Capital team expressed their interest in Kubos, Deep Render and ARUVR. However, LocalGlobe partner Zic Reichert; Cusomuse has listed ShapesXR, MetaVoice, and Unai among startups they’re interested in. Sabrina Wizander, one of the Creandum partners, also pointed out that they follow Ready Player Me, The Fabricant and Sloyd closely.
