Ethereum Whales Start Getting SHIB Again

The release date of Shibarium, the layer-2 solution of the dog-themed cryptocurrency project Shiba Inu, which has a large audience behind it, is approaching. A tweet from Shiba Inu lead developer Shytoshi Kusama last week sparked excitement in the SHIB community.

Kusama stated in his post on his Twitter account that they had a meeting with the Unification team about Shibarium. SHIB developer’s layer-2 solution simply said “coming soon” without giving a clear date for when Shibarium will be operational. After the sharing of Kusama, one of the most important names of the Shiba Inu community, it was determined that Ethereum whales started to accumulate SHIB again.

According to the data of whale tracking site WhaleStats, Shiba Inu (SHIB) was the cryptocurrency that the top 100 ETH whales traded the most in recent days. With the purchases following Kusama’s share, SIHB re-entered at the 9th place in the list of 10 altcoins held by the largest 100 Ethereum whales. However, although the new year has started with new hopes, SHIB investors are still not happy. Shiba Inu price continues to drop.
