Binance CEO: Image Photoshop
Changpeng Zhao resists the spread of new fear, uncertainty and suspicion (FUD) amid unfounded rumors that Interpol is on the “red notice” list.
An apparently tampered image circulating on Twitter shows a photo of Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao (CZ) featured on Interpol’s red notice website, suggesting that the crypto giant is facing serious legal issues.
A red notice is a request to law enforcement agencies around the world to locate and temporarily arrest a person pending extradition, surrender or similar legal action. According to Zhao, the image was photoshopped.

Rumors that Interpol was investigating Zhao’s whereabouts began when crypto phenom Cobie tweeted the SHA256 hash containing an encrypted message. Cobie himself says the message is just an unlikely guess and rumor and no one should be able to read it:
“Last year I posted the SHA256 hash of rumors more than 20 times before the secret was revealed – the point of a hash commit scheme is that no one should be able to read them until the secret is out… It’s a ‘guess’ and a rumor. It’s certainly not possible for Interpol to have insider information without a real leak, which seems highly unlikely.”
Meanwhile, CZ urges crypto market participants to ignore unconfirmed rumors and speculation.
“If you panic sell over FUD or photoshop images, it’s unlikely you’ll get rich. Block FUD sources.”
