Aptos Topped the Developer Activity

A Twitter account that shares statistics on the GitHub platform, which software developers frequently use, ranked crypto projects by activity. According to ProofofGitHub, in the daily developer activity rankings, Aptos (APT) has taken the lead, surpassing its closest competitor Polkadot. DOT has long been number one for daily developer activity.

The new charts shared by the on-chain analytics platform Santiment confirm the GitHub ranking. With the new on-chain metric it shared, Santiment revealed that the Aptos developer activity index reached 20.87 on February 18. The network’s total transfer volume stood at 2.90 billion APT in the last days of January, while this metric stands at around 500 million today.

Santiment analysts also followed social media data for Aptos, which has become popular in recent months. Experts emphasized that Aptos has been less popular on social media in recent days.

Aptos’ native cryptocurrency, APT, started the week with a slight sell-off. Unable to hold above the $14.45 level last Sunday, APT is currently trading at $14.16.
