Alibaba Cloud Will Serve on Avalanche Network
Chinese e-commerce giant company Alibaba has finally stepped into the crypto money world with the Avalanche (AVAX) partnership it announced. On Friday, Avalanche announced the inclusion of Alibaba Cloud on their blockchain to support validators and provide a modern infrastructure.
According to the official announcement, the new partnership will allow users to launch validator nodes through the service, access computing, storage and distribution resources through Alibaba Cloud’s suite of products. To further strengthen the Avalanche ecosystem, new entrants looking to launch new AVAX validators will be able to do so easily with Alibaba’s plug-and-play infrastructure as a service (IaaS).

According to Avalanche, application developers can also add additional cloud infrastructure to support their applications during peak times to keep up with user activity. To announce the new integration, Alibaba Cloud will also offer discounts for all its services to developers on the Avalanche network.
Google Cloud has been running a campaign for the past few months where it has partnered with almost all the leading blockchain platforms in the crypto space. In many networks such as Ethereum, Solana, Hedera, Google Cloud has come to the fore in providing cloud infrastructures to crypto companies.

However, this launch was also met with some skepticism. People have expressed concerns about the centralization that could be a direct result of node engine servicing. Google officials are reportedly aware of the issue and have no intention of taking over the entire Web3.
