A Whale Bought a Lot of DOGE
Tesla CEO Elon Musk, known for his support for Dogecoin, continues to support Twitter after its acquisition. A few days ago, Elon Musk caused an increase in meme tokens such as Floki Inu (FLOKI) and Shiba Inu (SHIB), including Dogecoin (DOGE), after Twitter put his dog “Floki” in the CEO chair. The volatility in DOGE’s price also led to an increase in purchasing activities.
In this context, on-chain data platform Lookonchain announced that a whale bought 250 million DOGE worth $63 million from cryptocurrency exchange Crypto.com on February 16. After this purchase, the whale entered the top 20 in the list of the most Dogecoin holders. Lookonchain stated that the whale also purchased 200 million DOGE, worth $39 million, from Crypto.com yesterday.

“Whale “D7vrVR” received 250M $DOGE($63M) from #cryptocom 1hr ago and became one of the top 20 holders of Dogecoin. And he also received 200M $DOGE($39M) from #cryptocom yesterday.”

He left the data tracking link of BitInfoCharts under the LookonChain share. According to the data obtained, it was seen that the wallet address that bought a large amount of DOGE in the last two days already has 709,289,274 DOGE. Dogecoin and Floki Inu also recorded gains with the massive recovery in the cryptocurrency market in the last 24 hours. DOGE continues to trade at $0.08751, up nearly 2% in the last 24 hours, while FLOKI continues to trade at $0.00005019, up 43% in the last 24 hours.
