A New Record in XRPL NFT Sales Volume

Blockchain network XRPL has surpassed the 7 million XRP milestone in NFT sales volume. Referring to Bithomp, founder Kaj Leroy said that XRPL NFT sales in the market of onXRP, one of the fastest growing projects in the ecosystem, exceeded 7.3 million XRP.

XRPL has passed the milestone with a sales figure of 21,469. Xrp cafe, which is on the list after OnXRP, follows the leader in sales with 6.9 million XRP. The volume of sales was achieved with the help of a collection that can be called a special collection offered on onXRP. Xpunks share common roots with the creators of onXRP and are inspired by the now legendary CryptoPunks NFT collection. Previously, one of the items in the collection, number 8811, was sold for 108,900 XRP, which was equivalent to $40,000 at the time.

“This makes me so unbelievably proud, passed 7m $XRP already. We will continue to improve and make the platform better.”

According to Bithomp, Xpunks’ current sales volume is 2.42 million XRP with only 958 sales. Next up with 1.5 million XRP sales in metrics is Bored Apes XRP Club, which is also listed on the onXRP market. According to the XRPL Services portal, there are currently a total of 615,597 NFTs on the XRP Ledger. The number of offers is 91,615, most of them (i.e. 76,794) offers to sell and 14,821 offers to buy.
